Have you ever thought to yourself, Gee I would love to be a hobo for a day? Well, we have found a place in which you can do just that.
I am not talking about an activity where you will be grabbing a brown-bag style lunch, wrapping it in a handkerchief,
and tying it on a branch to walk around. I am talking about a full-blown actual convention in Britt, Iowa that takes place August 7-10, 2014!
This unique convention kicks off with a Hobo Bingo game on August 5th and ends with a Pie and Ice Cream Social on August 10th at 7 p.m. Throughout the week there is a full list of fun activities to partake in.
From Sparkles the Clown and crank-train cars, to a hobo king and queen coronation, you will be regaled by the stories, songs, and legions of the famous and infamous hobos of yesteryear.
