The view is spectacular. Backed up to the mountain and decorated with old western flair it makes a great picture spot. They even have a cute trade store inside for things like fool's gold and kitschy western toys.
If you are heading to Arizona anytime soon, make sure and check out the Mining Camp. The Camp is located East of Mesa, Arizona, in a city called Apache Junction. Based on the legend of the Lost Dutchman's Gold, this area boosts a few mining attractions. The Mining Camp has been around for sometime and is a local favorite to bring out of town guests. They serve the meal family-style. All-you-can-eat with mounds of BBQ ribs, baked chicken and stuffing, ham and pineapple sauce, along with side dishes. The prices are reasonable at $20 p.p and you can often times find coupons when you come into town. The drinks and desserts are extra. The view is spectacular. Backed up to the mountain and decorated with old western flair it makes a great picture spot. They even have a cute trade store inside for things like fool's gold and kitschy western toys.

The mining camp sounds awesome. We really love "theme" attractions. Mining is a favorite. We have done actual gold mining in Washington, and diamond mining in Arkansas.
